"We invite you to bring your kids (11 and under - boys and girls) to the Canadian Aviation Museum on the Aviation Parkway, for a really neat one way traffic free 1.1Km run on the Rockcliffe Parkway. The run is held in conjunction with Emilie's Women's Only 5Km Run.
The Wylie Ryan Aviation Museum 1.1Km Run is a really neat one, starting on the Rockcliffe Parkway overpass above the Aviation Parkway, and running right to the front door of the Aviation Museum - where the kids will receive a free pass to the Museum (sorry adults, you have to pay).
Bring the kids out to watch their Mom, Grandmother, sister, cousins, and friends run the 5Km, then enjoy their own 1.1Km with souvenir shirts, a timing chip, and medals and treats after the race."
