brechhorn, floch & bergleuchten

brechhorn summit

At the top of Brechhorn we enjoyed an early lunch with an amazing view all around us. We posed for the requisite photos, signed the log book and stamped our hiking books.

As we ate lunch we contemplated the next peak in the distance: Floch. Rubby had already wanted to hike that peak last time but we never got around to it. This time he swore he would do it and seeing as how it was still early (only 11am), he was itching to go further. I myself was tired, but there was no way I could let Rubby attain a peak that I'd never hiked before. When we asked Samantha her opinion she was raring to go, eager to get another peak under her belt and to get another stamp for our hiking books. By the time lunch was finished, we'd made up our mind to continue on to Floch.

As we sit having lunch we look across at the next cross (Floch) and decide to tackle it today still.

Hey, if you zoom in on the Floch cross, it's not nearly so far to go anymore! ;-)

Rubby headed down to his little perch to take a picture of the Brechhorn cross.

And Christopher... he's just always hungry! (But happy!)
