August 7 to 29, 2010
Past the play ground, it was time to explore the magical world of Ellmi. This was the first time we came that the "rain forest" was operational and of course we saw all the old favourites including Wally the owl, the boat and the shark, and the giant mushrooms. But of course the real focus was finding Ellmi and his magic treasure which were hiding in the secret cave.
Another new addition since the last time we visited is a
series of stamp stations where you stamp a passport along the way.
Miles, Ellmi's british cousin.
The shoes of a wicked witch trapped under the tree.
The kids have fun in the rain forest. Who knew Austria had rainforests?! ;-)
Samantha thinks Ellmi's treasure might be at the end of the rainbow.
Samantha grabs the magic wand to make Wally the owl tell us his tale.
A picture perfect day!
Ellmi's magic goes a little haywire sometimes... this flower grew way too big!
Snack time and nap time!
Sammy on her chanterelle stool and Christopher on a fly agaric.
The perfect place for a picnic.
Watch out for the giant dragonfly!
Someone tell the captain that the boat goes further if you put it in water!
That captain is smart... the shark can't get us if we're out of the water!
But the kids can get the shark!
Where's Sammy going?
Sam thinks she's found treasure but Opa looks scared.
Hurray, they found Ellmi and his treasure!
Christopher escapes through the secret tunnel with ease. Opa's a little bit slower.
It's Ellmi's wonderland!
