westendorfer wohlfuehlweg
This morning we slept in and took our time with breakfast. The weather was rainy and it didn't look like it would clear. In the late morning we made our way to Uri's to help put up the tent for the party tomorrow. Only once we got there we were told that the tent wouldn't be put up til the evening. Having already been invited for lunch we made a slight change in our plans for the day and we left the kids with Oma while we went and did some groceries. When we got back to Uri's things had changed again and Opa, Hansi and Martin were already at work putting up the tent. So Rubby went to help them finish.
In the afternoon we took the kids to check out the Wohlfuehlweg (wellness trail). The trail itself has been there forever but in an effort to offer tourists new things to come and see they've developed several stations along the path to the theme of "wellness". The kids had fun playing at the stations and we marvelled at some of the craftsmanship along the way.
The rest of the day we took it easy... snacks back at the hotel with a bit of TV and colouring for the kids. Apparently the rest was needed because both kids fell asleep in front of the TV mid afternoon!
