The Ottawa Library has a program where you can sign up for museum cards that give you a free family pass to a museum, valid for one week. Signed us up for the museum of nature back in the fall and we finally got the call that we'd worked our way to the top of the list and our pass was available.
So, we decided to make a day of it... visiting the Museum of Nature in the morning and enjoying a beautiful winter afternoon on the canal and looking at the ice sculptures at the Crystal Gardens in Confederation park.
