"Join us for a CITO in Point Wolfe - Fundy National Park from 4:15pm to 6:00pm
ACGA & Environment Canada will be hosting this CITO event to acknowledge the International Year of Biodiversity in 2010.
Biodiversity refers to the variety of life on Earth. It encompasses the wide array of ecosystems, ecological processes, species and genes that contribute to human health and well-being.
The United Nations declared 2010 as the International Year of Biodiversity to bring greater attention to the importance of biodiversity and efforts to reduce the current rate of biodiversity loss.
If everyone does a little bit it will make a big difference in the park, so come out and grab a bag and do a little cleaning along the trail & parking lots in this popular section of the park.
This will be the first of 4 CITO events that ACGA & Environment Canada will host across Atlantic Canada. Look for CITO listing for PEI, NL & NS for the week of May 30 & June 5 2010"
a litter bug?
we head over to clean up around kettle lake
we read about how the lake was formed.
we then head over to the outdoor theatre
not too much garbage
sam doesn't have any stage fright.
checking out the blooming trees.

we just make sure we don't get too close.
sam's new pastime... picking bouquets of flowers.
this time... they are for grandma!
the tide is coming in on a windy day.
next we head over to clean up around the park
(ok, I cleaned and the rest went to play)
i can see everyone having fun, while I cleaned up.
but it felt good to help make the park a little better for everyone.
