Pumpkin Party

This was the third year of our now annual pumpkin party. If you've never seen pictures on our website of the previous parties it's because they were never posted... there were always so many photos to sort through and we'd get busy with pre-Christmas preparation and November birthdays. But this year I have vowed not to wait until I get everyone's photos and to quickly put something together.
This year we had the pumpkin party on a Saturday which turned out to be a little hectic as lots of the kids had some sort of classes to attend at some point during the day. On the other hand we were super lucky with the weather as we had beautiful sunshine which has been a rare thing during this extremely wet and rainy fall. All together we were about 8 families who attended at least part of the event which started off in the morning with a visit to the "pumpkin patch" and then moved to our house for lunch, pumpkin carving and lots of playing around the yard.
