there was a was with a kite nearby, it made for a good lunch time show.
christopher was hungry enough for a double decker sandwich.
sam is also quite happy that it was lunch time.
the gull just stared at us the entire time.
but the kids didn't want to share.
sooo good.
the kite man, attached a camera to the string... and up it went
wonder what the photos would look like.
some people fly fishing.
a view of the parliament.
the geese are not shy.
a peaceful island
christopher waves as the geese walk past him.
rubby helping christopher jump from rock to rock.
the organizers of the geoevent have arrived and are getting things ready.
honk, honk!
looks like it's starting...
time to head over.
sam gets distracted by a tree on her way there.
having fun at the event
chrsitopher is having a ball!
everyone poses for the group photo
then it's back to the water to play again.
we even spotted a few fossils.
check out the unit between rubby's legs! ;)
(sorry I couldn't resist)
christopher trying to be the rockhopper again ;)
sam has fun jumping off the boulders
a little more play time before we call it a day.
christopher didn't want to leave.
but finally realized he didn't have a choice
squirrel vs gull... who would win in a fight?
a momma ground hog and a baby.
the baby groundhogs would eat right out of our hands.
sam comes over to get a close look
they are so cute.
christopher also joins in.
we all had fun feeding the little guys.
even the goose wanted to join in the fun!
the kids wanted a turn... but still don't have the patience.... but they enjoyed it all the same.
