alma beach
although sam hadn't finished all her level 3 requirements, we noticed that the tide was low, so we modified about agenda a bit and headed down to alma to play on the beach for a while.

time to walk on the ocean floor.
sam and grandma head to the beach while grandpa and I quickly do a nearby cache.
now to catch up to samantha and grandma
sam is excited to play on the beach.
a nice warm but windy day.
grandpa is trying to glide in the wind.
sam spots the big shells and starts to collect them.
not a very crowded beach at this time of year.
grandpa off to do some exploring of his own.

we go back and check to see how samantha's shell collection is coming along.
grandma keeps an eye on the shells while we bring sam over to large area with shells everywhere.
she was excited to see them all!

it's interesting how the tides bunch them up.
sam also finds some seaweed.
nothing like relaxing on a beach.

we bring all the shells back to grandma
and now we need to sort out the good from the bad.
