saint tite.. snicker, snicker. :)
small town... huge church!
we stop here for a quick lunch break.
the local flags
welcome to sainte-anne-de-la-pérade
sam thinks this is a good place to set her friend free.
a history of the town famous for ice fishing.
during winter there are more than 500 huts on the ice... they even have "corner store huts"
camping and "danseuses"... I know where to stay next time ;)
these street lights caught my eye.
sam had a very long afternoon nap (she slept all through montreal)
we stop our first Ottawa sign...
immediately followed by a sign warning of traffic slowdowns! :(
now there's a bike rack!
35 degrees... and our speed is down to 0 km/h
but it gives us a chance to see some interesting buildings.
...and of course churches.
the habs are out of the playoffs, but the support continues on
(or they are just too depressed to take them down)
rough translation... my bank shouldn't be like my ex... un-interest-ing (no interest)
a truck carrying a truck carrying a truck...
finally get past one traffic slow down, just to see the next one is on it's way!
i wonder when they will reopen ontario? ;)
the new services areas are finally being built!
looks like they will be nice.
racing a racing truck.
oh no... now what?!
47km until grandma & grandpas... and we come to another complete stop!
I get out to see if I can see the front... but only see but cars & trucks
another service centre... not quite as far along as the other.
was there an accident?
nope... the huge delay was for a little paving strip.
lets wave to oma & opa as we pass by morrisburg.
nice company slogan.
we made it to grandma & grandpas!
and so did half the bugs!
finally we are home!
and hapily greeted by the rest of our family.
