August 7 to 29, 2010
Hexenwasser is an award winning alpine park based on the theme of witches and water. It is by far one of the most popular kids attractions in the area and amazingly enough, completely free. (The lifts and restaurants make tons of money on the tourists so they don't have to charge for any of the play area!).
Because we knew the kids would be wading in cold alpine water, we knew that Hexenwasser had to be done in relatively nice weather and since you never know what the weather will be like long term we decided to cross this one off our list as soon as possible. Of course, the nice weather brought out lots of other tourists and it got a little bit overwhelming at times! Nevertheless we had fun playing in all the water features, baking witch's bread, roasting hot dogs and playing in the bee house.
