La Guancha

After checking in at the airbnb in Ponce, I headed back out to check out La Guancha.

La Guancha is one of the hottest hang out spots in Ponce, literally, it's right next to the beach. Take a trip to this boardwalk facing the Caribbean Sea to find an array of fun things to do. Start by having a meal at some of the kiosks turned restaurants, and then have a drink at one of the bars. You can also buy some seeds and feed the birds, fish, and pelicans that are always around the boardwalk grounds. Finish the visit by going up the Guancha Lighthouse and enjoying the view.

My luck being what is was this trip, I got there too late in the day, and most everything had shut down.... So no cool dinner for me. And then after trying another place in Ponce "Chef's Creations", which had closed at 3:30, I ended up going to McDonald's for dinner (I didn't take any photos as I thought this was embarrassing at the time). My spanish was good enough to order in spanish and not have the lady at the cash just speak english to me.
