Overall it was a fabuluous trip... for the most part the weather was quite good, especially in the northern part of Iceland. We saw many amazing geological phenomena, including glaciers, volcanoes, interesting rock formations and my favourite... the waterfalls. Saw lots of pretty flowers, more amazing when you consider the harsh conditions that these manage to grow in. And also became a great fan of the birds of Iceland... not only were they much easier to spot because of the lack of trees, but they had wonderful personalities and most of them all had their little chicks in tow.
