Iceland: Day 13 - East Iceland

After a good night sleep along the side of the road, we had peanut butter sandwiches for breakfast and headed off in search off to explore East Iceland, home of Laggi the sea monster. It was a hot day and we spent a good part of the day by the Hengifoss waterfall at lake Lögurinn, close to the biggest city in East Iceland, Egilsstaðir. The rest of the day was spent driving through small fishing villages in the Eastfjords.
