Iceland: Day 10 - Mývatn & Hrísey

Today was a beautiful warm and sunny day and we wrapped up our tour of the Mývatn area by checking out the Krafla volcanic area and taking a dip in the newly opened Mývatn Nature Bath. In the afternoon we headed back along the Ring Road, passing by Goðafoss and Akureyri once more. We ended the day with a trip to the island of Hrísey to see some ptarmigan and other birds and camped just outside of Dalvik where we would catch the ferry next day to get to the arctic circle.
