Planning to go catch the ferry to Grimsey to cross the arctic circle the next day, we backtracked a bit along the Ring Road and revisited some of the sights, this time with a bit more sunshine. One of these places was Goðafoss which looked even more breathtaking with the sun on the water.

The river Skjálfandalfljót is approximately 180km long and flows from the glacier Vatnajökull. The bridge currently in used was built in 1972.
This time we viewed the falls from the other side of the river.
Was Rubby taking a shower? This gives new meaning to "running water"!
