July 14, 2004
Today promised to brighten a little bit so we decided to do a recap of some of the sights along the Golden Triangle that we had visited at the beginning of our trip... this time in better weather, not quite so jetlagged, and not constrained by the schedule of a bus tour.
We went back to Þingvellir National Park, Geysir, and the Gulfoss waterfall.
At the end of the day we found a picnic site, and after climbing a hill to get a great view of the famous volcano Hekla, we ate hotdogs, enjoyed another rainbow as it started to drizzle, and tried to ignore the other camper that pulled up next to us as we settled down in Hotel Clio for the night.
