The northern tip of Curaçao is rather desolate but still has a few attractions that made it worth going to check out.
Almost didn’t go because the overnight rain really made the road look impassible at spots, but gamble and drove through a “lake”.
At the parking spot, there is a shelter spot with a picnic table, but other than that, you are exposed to the full power of the sun while you explore. So this is one of the times that I went hiking with my umbrella! Lol
Some highlights are a large painted rock (Curaçao flag), natural bridges, lots of spouting holes along the coast. But there was nothing physical at the spot marked on the digital map as “The Northern most point of Curaçao”.
And of course, my inner 4 year old's highlight was seeing a flying booby! Lol
