Another off the beaten path hike.
Not sure if this area/trail had a name, but I just wandered around… past a couple inlets on the coastal section, went up a hill to see the view, saw a “cave” (it's marked as a cave, but I would not call it a cave), and an old abandoned building. The overnight rains made it that I couldn’t drive in as far as I wanted to in order to start the hike and at one point, I had to take off my hiking boots and socks and wade knee deep in water to get pass a section of the trail. You can’t really go bushwhacking to get around the water when there are cactus everywhere.
Saw lots of birds, but not including too many of them in this post because I’ve shown most of them in previous posts. Overall, this was a nice hike to start the day with lots of variety… and no other people around.
