Daniel Route

I enjoy trying to explore all areas when on vacation somewhere. So although this hike wasn't listed on any tourist sites I looked at I decided to give it a go.

At the begining of the hike there is a sign with the following:

"The Daniel route is one of the toughest hike on the island. The trail spans roughly 9km across terrain that is difficult to traverse (rough limestone rocks), with sparse shading. The area is uninhabited and there are no roads, this means that you will be difficult to rach in an emergency. The duration of the hike is at least 4 hours and takes a heavy toll on the body."

I enjoyed this hike, lots of birds (I really liked the amount of hummingbird in Curacao), views, and some small caves, one that I had to crawl to get through.
